Man is charged after car incident

A man has been charged with drink-driving related offences after a car drove into premises in Worcestershire.

The Horsefair, Kidderminster, was due to be shut from the ring road to the junction of Radford Avenue until Monday after police were called on Saturday.

Structural engineers would assess safety before deciding whether or not to reopen the road.

The man who has been charged is due to appear before Kidderminster magistrates on 11 September.

Another man who was arrested has been released without charge.
