There are concerns over the safety of three premises in a Worcestershire town after a car drove into shops, police have said.
The Horsefair, Kidderminster, was due to be shut from the ring road to the junction of Radford Avenue until Monday after police were called on Saturday.
A Vauxhall Frontera apparently went out of control and crashed into the shops.
Two men, aged 24 and 30, have been arrested over being unfit to drive through drink or drugs, police said.
They have also been arrested in connection with leaving the scene of an accident, a spokesman added.
He said: "Due to the damage to these shops and the fact they are considered to be unsafe, we've closed the road."
