Man is killed getting out of taxi

A 22-year-old man has died after being hit by a car as he got out of a taxi.

The man was hit by a green Citroen AX being driven by a 20-year-old woman in Clent, Worcestershire, just after midnight, West Mercia Police said.

He suffered multiple injuries and was taken by ambulance to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have appealed for any witnesses and information over the crash which happened in Belbroughton Road.
