Four bailed in bonfire body case

David Langdon had worked as a landscape gardener, police said

Three women and a man who were arrested after a man's body was found in the remains of a bonfire in his cottage garden have been released on bail.

The body of David Langdon, 40, was found in Wormelow, Herefordshire, on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive on the cause of his death. Home Office pathologists have now been brought in to help with the case.

Police said Mr Langdon's death was still being treated as "unexplained".

Officers have described the landscape gardener as a "popular man" who was well-known in the village.

Police have asked anyone who was in contact with Mr Langdon between 4 and 14 August to contact them.
