Two men bailed over knife attack

Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was assaulted with a chair and a craft knife have been released on bail.

Police were called to a flat in Comberton Hill, Kidderminster, on Wednesday night and found a 24-year-old man with serious injuries.

He was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital suffering from cuts to his neck.

Officers said two men, aged 22 and 16, were released on bail on Friday.

They urged anyone with information about the attack to contact them.
