Mother's heartbreak over thefts
A mother is heartbroken after thieves struck twice in three weeks to take toys left at her baby's grave.

A Shrek toy and two Peter Rabbit statues were stolen from the Abbey Cemetery in Bordesley Lane, Redditch.

Stacie Henderson, whose son died last month, said she was sickened that people could steal items of such sentimental value.

Police have called it a despicable crime and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

The Shrek model was taken from the graveside on the evening of 25 July. The statues were taken late on 14 August.

Ms Henderson, from Redditch, said: "I am suffering enough from losing my baby but to have his toys and things pinched like this just breaks my heart."

The financial cost was irrelevant, she added.

"It's sickening really and I just want the person caught so if anyone can give the police any idea who has done this I'd be really grateful."
