Firm fined after asbestos release
A company has been ordered to pay nearly £20,000 in fines and costs after the release of asbestos during demolition work.

Wye Valley Demolition Ltd was fined after an incident at a former grain store building at Chapel Lane, Bodenham, Herefordshire in 2004.

The company, of St Weonards, Hereford, was fined £6,000 and told to pay costs at Hereford Magistrates' Court.

The firm admitted breaching the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002.
