Thousands lost in internet scam
A number of people in Worcestershire have lost large amounts of money in e-mail and internet scams over the last two months, police have said.

One woman from Kidderminster sent off £1,700 in six separate payments in one con which started in Nigeria.

Several other people in Wyre Forest have sent money, in some cases substantial amounts of cash.

Police advise anyone receiving e-mails asking for sensitive information to delete them straight away.
