Work starts on £13m road upgrade
Work has started on a £13m transport upgrade in Herefordshire.

The Rotherwas access road will take traffic from a busy industrial estate onto the A49. The project should be completed in a year.

Herefordshire Council submitted the multi-million pound proposal to the government in 2005.

It included the new access road into Hereford and the city's first park-and- ride scheme. Councillors hope the road will bring more businesses to the area.
