Driver flagged down and attacked
A motorist who stopped his car after a man flagged him down in the road was assaulted and then robbed.

The victim was driving along Hillery Road in Worcester during the early hours of Tuesday when he was stopped by a man waving his arms.

When he got out, another man appeared. The driver was threatened, assaulted and harassed and had 50 stolen by the pair who ran off along Nunnery Lane.

The victim drove himself to hospital and was treated for cuts to his arms.

His attackers were a black male in his 20s with prominent teeth and a white male with spiky, mousey-coloured hair. Both smelt strongly of alcohol.
