Expansion plan for blind college
Hereford's Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) is planning a massive expansion at its campus on the edge of the city.

The College Road site will have new halls of residence, a sports and complementary therapy building and a new outdoor floodlit sports pitch.

The RNC is home to the English blind football team and hopes to be used by teams in the 2012 Paralympics.

Principal Roisin Burge hopes the work will attract athletes to train there.
