Passing Pc saves hamster from cat
A lucky hamster was plucked from the jaws of death by a passing police officer in Worcestershire.

Pc Simon Wills was in his patrol car in Fordhouse Road in Bromsgrove on Monday night when he saw the rodent being pursued by a cat.

He managed take the animal safely back to the town's police station, where a temporary bed was made for it.

Despite attempts to trace the owners, nobody has come forward. Pc Wills is now caring for the hamster at home.

Anyone who knows who owns the rodent is asked to contact Bromsgrove Police on 08457 444888.
