Funeral for Egypt bomb blast girl
Hannah Lloyd
Hannah Lloyd was to have started sixth-form college next month
The funeral of a Worcestershire schoolgirl who died after being caught up in the Egypt bomb blasts on 23 July will be held next week.

Hannah Lloyd, 16, from Evesham, suffered serious burns in the attacks in Sharm al-Sheikh and died in hospital in England on 8 August.

Her sister Georgina, 14, suffered serious leg injuries.

Parents Heide and Phil said the funeral would take place at St Peter's Church, Bengeworth, Evesham, on 25 August.

Driving lessons

The service will be followed by a burial for the immediate family only.

All donations will be shared between the high dependency burns unit at the Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, where Hannah was treated after being flown back to the UK, and the Battledown Children's Ward at Cheltenham General Hospital.

That was where Georgina was treated for her injuries.

The sisters had been staying at the Ghazala Gardens Hotel with their mother Heide when the attacks happened.

Hannah, an Evesham High School pupil, was going to start driving lessons when she came home and had a part-time housekeeping job.

She was also about to start sixth-form college.
