A project to restore a canal in Worcestershire has been given £3m funding from Advantage West Midlands.
The restoration of a stretch of waterway in Droitwich will be the final piece in the creation of a 21-mile (34km) canal loop.
The stretch, once used to transport the town's salt production, has not been used since the 1930s.
A spokesman for British Waterways said the finished loop should help boost tourism in the area.
