Police name fatal accident victim

Police have named a woman who died after the car she was in hit a wall.

Lauren Caley, 18, from Hereford, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the B4224 Hampton Park Road in the early hours of Wednesday.

Another passenger was taken to Hereford County Hospital where their condition is described as stable.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. Officers say a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out on Monday.

The man is also suspected of causing death by dangerous driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs.
