Man, 18, dies after car accident

An 18-year-old man has died from the injuries he received in a car accident in Herefordshire over the weekend.

The red Volkswagen Golf he was driving hit a telegraph pole on the B4214, just north of Bishops Frome, in the early hours of Sunday, police said.

The victim, who has not been named but came from Bishops Frome, died at Hereford County Hospital on Tuesday.

West Mercia Police are appealing for anybody who saw the car being driven before the accident to come forward.
