Holly wreaths worker electrocuted
A 26-year-old man has been electrocuted in a field while he was pruning holly bushes to make Christmas wreaths.

Henry Doe, of Watery Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, was working with his father and another man at the time of the accident on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said he touched a ladder which was in contact with overhead wires in a field at Wildmoor, near Bromsgrove.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said the accident clearly demonstrated how dangerous electricity could be.

Det Insp Sean Paley added: "Our thoughts are with the family at this devastating time.

"We will be carrying out an investigation to establish exactly what happened in the field, but the post-mortem results have indicated that Mr Doe's death was consistent with the ladder contacting the overhead wires."
