Council crack-down on fly-posting
Plans to make Bewdley a "no fly-posting zone" have been unveiled by the town council.

The idea came about when a number of notices began appearing in the Severn Side South part of the town centre.

Town Councillors were outraged that their picturesque Georgian town was being spoiled by a large amount of illegal fly-posting.

Now the town council has urged Wyre Forest District Council to get tough on offenders and implement fines.

The council also plan to contact the worst offenders and tell them to stop.

Consideration is being given to install another public notice board which sanctioned bill posters can use.
