Man dies in road accident
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 34-year-old man died in a road accident in north Worcestershire.
It happened on Monday at around 1720 BST on the A448 Bromgrove to Kidderminster Road near the Stone Manor Hotel, near Kidderminster.
Mark McKinnon Harper, a company director, from Stourport died in the collision which involved a blue Ford panel van and a white van.
A man in his 50s from Warwickshire also suffered cuts to the head and severe shock.
Cathedral part reopens after lengthy restoration
Part of Worcester Cathedral is reopening after a long refurbishment project.
The 12c Chapter House has been closed for over two years at a cost of almost £400,000.
The timber floor has been excavated and the building has been made more accessible to the public.
The cathedral has been a site of worship since the 7th century.
Caravan park receives special award
A family run caravan park in Herefordshire has been given a special award for the beauty of the environment.
The Millpond site in Little Tarrington has been given a gold award in the David Bellamy Conservation Awards.
The site, which is a favourite with campers, includes a lake, ancient woodland and a bluebell wood.
It is also a well known fishery and is a retreat for anglers and walkers.
