Scooters worth £12,500 stolen

Scooters worth about £12,500 have been stolen during a raid on a Portsmouth business.

The burglary happened at an industrial unit in the Anchorage Park area between 1800 GMT on Sunday and 0730 GMT on Monday.

Twenty-five petrol scooters were stolen, valued at £500 each.

Police are asking for anyone who has been approached to buy a scooter to contact them.

The Heavy Duty Road Hog, 43cc petrol scooters are either silver or black.
