Jim Davidson is just down the road

Comedian Jim Davidson is to hold a benefit performance for the widow of Pc Ian Broadhurst, who was shot dead while on duty.
Davidson will give a special one-man stand-up show at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, where he is currently starring in Aladdin with Eastenders actress Lucy Benjamin.
All money raised from ticket sales will go to Pc Broadhurst's wife Eilisa, whose 34-year-old husband was shot in his patrol car in Leeds on Boxing Day.
Davidson said: "I was as shocked as the rest of the country when I heard about the shooting.

Hopefully, the money we raise will be able to buy her a big bunch of flowers and a whole lot more

"It seems such a pointless death and my heart goes out to his widow.
"She has lost a husband and we have lost a good copper.
"The last thing she needs to be worrying about right now is how to pay the mortgage and the bills.
"Hopefully, the money we raise will be able to buy her a big bunch of flowers and a whole lot more."
Tickets for the show on 26 January are available from the Mayflower Theatre box office.
Pc Broadhurst's fellow officer Pc Neil Roper was injured in the same incident, in which a third officer was also involved.
Nightclub doorman David Bieber, also known as Nathan Coleman, has been charged with the murder of Pc Broadhurst and the attempted murders of Pc Roper, 45, and Pc James Banks, 26.
