The body of a man has been found near Bournemouth pier.
Dorset police say he was aged between 30 and 40 and was wearing jeans, black shoes and a purple top.
Detectives say they have no idea who he is and he does not fit the description of any missing person.
The man was found at 2000 BST on Tuesday by a canoeist just beside the pier.
