A ferry marshal spotted the man climbing into a coach full of tourists
An illegal immigrant was stopped from entering the UK for a second time after being found hiding in the toilet of a coach full of tourists.
The search for the man began when a lorry driver on board P&O Ferries' Spain to Portsmouth service saw his cab had been broken into and food stolen.
He was then spotted climbing into the coach as the Pride of Bilbao ferry docked in Portsmouth.
Border officials said he had also been caught hiding under a lorry in January.
In the latest incident on 11 February, UK Border Agency (UKBA) officers held the man, thought to be Palestinian, in detention for one night, before sending him back to Bilbao the next morning.
A UKBA spokeswoman said he had also been returned to Spain following his detention in January.
