Town gets new Army recruit office

A new Army recruiting office will be officially opened in a Hampshire town.

Brigadier Miles Wade, the senior military commander in the county, will attend the opening ceremony at Wote Street, in Basingstoke, on Monday.

It is thought to be first time the town has had an Army recruiting office in the past 20 years.

The office will be run by recruiter Sgt Andy Liddicott, 42, who serves with the Prince of Wales's Royal Regiment and has executed tours in Iraq and Rwanda.
