Two in court over Facebook party

Two teenagers have denied being involved in a fight which broke out after 200 people gatecrashed a party advertised on networking site Facebook.

Police attended Chapel Lane, Farnborough, Hampshire, in July where 30 people were involved in a brawl.

Keith Berger, 19, of Oaken Copse Crescent, and Ashley Pemberton, 18, of Fairfax Road, both deny affray and the case was adjourned until 22 December.

Mr Pemberton also denied possessing an offensive weapon, a can of drink.

James Mahabeer, 18, of Cambridge Road, Aldershot, also charged with affray, did not attend the hearing at Aldershot Magistrates' Court and his case was adjourned until 12 November.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said that no further action would be taken against a 19-year-old arrested at the scene.

A 17-year-old boy was fined £80 for using threatening words and behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
