Saints protest
Several hundred supporters marched through the city

Southampton FC supporters have marched through the Hampshire city calling for the removal of chairman Rupert Lowe.

The one-time Premier League club sit second from bottom of the Championship with many of their highest paid players out on loan with other sides.

Cash-strapped Saints have just appointed Dutchman Mark Wotte as their new head coach, replacing countryman Jan Poortvliet who lasted eight months.

Several hundred fans protested ahead of the home game against Swansea.

They marched from the city centre to St Mary's stadium chanting "Lowe out".

There were no reports of any trouble.
