A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was stabbed to death has been released without charge.

Dwayne Ayres, 20, of Yateley in Hampshire died following an incident in Holt Way, Hook, on 2 November.

Police said a 24-year-old would face no further action as the Crown Prosecution Service had indicated "there was not a realistic prospect of a conviction".

Three people have been charged with aggravated burglary in connection with the death of Mr Ayres.

Lucy Ayres, 28, from Crondall, Hampshire, Stuart Young, 21, of Berkshire, and a 16-year-old boy are next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 13 February.

A Hampshire police spokesman said Mr Ayres' family have been informed of the decision.

The file will now be passed to the North East Hampshire coroner.

An inquest was opened last year into Mr Ayres' death and proceedings were adjourned until 15 January.
