About 60 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a pair of thatch cottages in Hampshire.

On Monday evening, Hampshire Fire and Rescue sent 12 pumps to Highway Cottages in Micheldever close to the M3 motorway.

The roof of one of the properties has collapsed although there were no reports of any injuries.

Police have closed a number of local roads and have advised motorists to avoid the area.

The fire was not thought to be suspicious.
