Motorbike crash victim identified

A 65-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in the New Forest has been named by police.

Jeffrey Bennett of Stanley Road, Lymington, Hampshire, collided with a green Rover car near the Filly Inn at Setley on Wednesday afternoon.

He suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.

A 93-year-old man from Boldre was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but was later released on bail.

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
