Arrests as two stabbed in fight

Five people have been arrested after two men were stabbed during a fight in a Hampshire town.

At about 2000 BST on Saturday, two men received stab wounds during an altercation at the junctions of Gore Road and Peckham Avenue in New Milton.

The victims, whose conditions were not known, were taken to separate hospitals at Southampton and Bournemouth.

Four men, aged 20, 21, 25 and 32, were detained on suspicion of assault and a man, aged 19, was detained for affray.

Any witnesses have been urged to contact police.
