Teenager threatened by knifeman

A 17-year-old boy was threatened by a masked knifeman as he walked home from a friend's house in Hampshire.

The teenager was walking along Mattock Way in Chineham, Basingstoke, when he heard someone running behind him.

He moved into the road to allow the man to pass, but the attacker ran in front of him and threatened him with a knife.

The victim handed over his mobile phone and the robber ran off. But the man then turned round and threw the phone back at the teenager.

The knifeman is described as medium build, about 5ft 9ins and wore a white balaclava with eye holes and a gauze over the mouth.
