Coach passengers injured in crash

Four coach passengers were injured and two people had to be cut from the wreckage of their car after a head-on collision on the Isle of Wight.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident in Hill Lane in Norton, near Yarmouth, at 1530 BST.

A man and a woman in a Rover 600 were freed by firefighters who had to cut off the roof of their car.

They were taken to hospital with minor injuries along with the people on the coach who also suffered minor injuries.

Hill Lane has been closed with diversions in place at Colwell Road and the junction with Pixley Hill.

Police appealed for witnesses to the collision.
