Mrs Sinclair's family said she was dedicated to her twin boys

The husband of a businesswoman found stabbed to death at their family home has been charged with her murder.

The body of Sally Sinclair, 40, was found on Saturday evening at the house near Amport, in Hampshire.

On Tuesday, Alisdair Sinclair, 47, of Georgia Lane, Amport, was charged with her murder.

Mrs Sinclair was head of business analysis at the mobile phone company Vodafone. A post-mortem examination showed she died from stab wounds.

Mr Sinclair is due to appear before magistrates in Basingstoke on Wednesday.

Mrs Sinclair's mother said she was "a clever, bright, hardworking girl" who loved her twin 10-year-old boys and her job.

Matthew Brearley, human resources director of Vodafone UK, said Mrs Sinclair had been with the company since 1994 and worked at the headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire.
