A man who police say fell overboard from a cross-channel ferry between Portsmouth and France has been named.
Hampshire Police said the alarm was raised just before 0300 BST on Friday after Gareth Lees, of Ffynnon Wen, Clydach, Swansea, went into the water.
The 35-year-old's body was taken aboard HMS Lancaster, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious and were handing the incident over to the coroner.
