Hundreds queue for FA Cup tickets

Fans camping for FA Cup tickets
Fans began camping on Monday evening in the hope of getting tickets

Hundreds of football fans have queued overnight for extra FA Cup tickets that have gone on sale at Portsmouth Football Club.

About 400 people are queuing for an extra 700 tickets that went on sale at Fratton Park at 1000 BST.

More than 250 people had gathered outside the club by 0400 BST.

Portsmouth take on Cardiff City at Wembley on Saturday, in what is their first appearance in the FA Cup final since 1939.

On Monday, thousands of supporters gathered to have their picture taken with the FA Cup at the Spinnaker Tower.

The picture opportunity, organised by BBC South, saw queues at the city landmark of 45 minutes long.

From two-week-old babies to octogenarians, fans came from as far as New Zealand to have their photo taken.
