Probe into bolting horse at show

An investigation has begun after a horse bolted into the crowd at a show in Hampshire injuring six people.

Two people sustained fractured ankles, a pregnant woman was treated for shock and three others were hurt at the event in Southsea on Sunday.

The show was managed by Portsmouth Leisure Community Association on behalf of Portsmouth City Council.

Both parties will conduct a review into the incident in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive.
