More than 200 alpacas have transformed Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire into an animal showground.
Breeders from all over the UK and Europe have entered their alpacas, which will be judged by an international panel of experts.
The animals, divided by class, will be judged on their wool and appearance.
The two-day British Alpaca Futurity event, organised by a group of breeders, will feature stands, seminars, fashion shows and an auction.
Organisers have raised more than £30,000, which will finance the event.
Some of the proceeds will be donated to the Quechua Benefit, a charity that provides relief to the people of the alpaca farming regions.
