Man charged with murdering woman

Emma Amy was discovered dead at her house

A man has been charged with the murder of a 30-year-old woman who was discovered dead at her Hampshire home.

Emma Amy was found at her house in Wimpson Lane, Southampton, on Thursday. A post-mortem examination revealed she was asphyxiated.

Gavin Amy, 29, who has been charged her murder, will appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A 30-year-old man, who was also arrested in connection with the case, has been released on police bail.
