Boy charged for Halloween 'prank'
Police in Hampshire have taken action against a number of young people for anti-social behaviour at Halloween.

A group of up to 50 young people threw eggs at houses in Hook and attempted to push a marked police vehicle over the top of a subway on Halloween evening.

Police said they had taken action against 10 youths after a lengthy investigation, including charging one.

A 15-year-old boy from Hook was charged with causing criminal damage and others received written or verbal warnings.

A 16-year-old boy from Odiham and a 15-year-old boy from North Warnborough have received final warnings for criminal damage.

Police said they sent formal letters to the other seven explaining what is anti-social behaviour and what can happen to them should they persist with it.

Other young people from the wider group of 50 were spoken to in the presence of their parents or guardians, police added.
