Murder charge over pub body find

A 41-year-old man has been charged with murder after the death of a woman whose body was found in a Hampshire pub.

David Kirsch, of Western Road, Aldershot, has been charged with the murder of Julie Butler, 49, also of Western Road, Aldershot.

Ms Butler's body was found in the Imperial Standard pub on Wednesday. A post-mortem examination revealed she died from pressure to the neck.

Mr Kirsch was due to appear before Aldershot magistrates on Friday.
