Road crash causes death of woman
A woman has died after a collision between her car and a Ford Transit van in a Hampshire village.

The accident happened on Aldershot Road in Church Crookham, just before noon.

The 58-year-old local woman, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, was taken to the Royal London Hospital where she later died of her injuries.

Two men, aged 19 and 22, who were in the van, were taken to Frimley Park Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police closed Aldershot Road between the A323 and Reading Road South.

They have advised motorists to avoid the area until after 1800 BST and appealed for witnesses to the crash.
