12th charge in animal rights case
Animal rights raids
The raids took place across northern Europe
A 12th person has been charged as part of a major police inquiry in the UK and across Europe over alleged animal rights extremism.

Heather Nicholson, 40, of Pond Croft, Yateley, Hampshire, has been charged with conspiracy to blackmail.

The charges follow police raids on Tuesday across England, Scotland, Wales, Belgium and the Netherlands.

A couple from Eversley in Hampshire were remanded in custody on Friday charged with conspiracy to blackmail.

Seven other people are due in court later this month on the same charge. Another two have been charged with blackmail.
