Road closed after two-car crash
An investigation has begun after two cars were involved in a serious collision in Dorset.

A woman, 28-weeks pregnant, and a male driver were in a green Rover 25 which left the A35 near Bridport and crashed into trees in the early hours.

The driver of a black Vauxhall Vectra involved in the crash near Chideock Hill, had to be cut free by fire crews.

A police spokesman said the condition of the casualties was unknown and the road would be closed over the morning.
