Man dies in milk float collision

The lorry and the milkfloat collided in Winchester Road in Alresford

A man has died in a collision between a milk lorry and a milk float in the early hours of Tuesday.

A second man was injured and taken to hospital after the crash on Winchester Road in Alresford, Hampshire.

A police investigation is under way into the circumstances of the collision and officers have appealed for anyone with any information to come forward.

The road had to be closed while the scene was cleared, but was reopened shortly before lunchtime.
