Roofs damaged as tornado strikes
Ray Worsfold's garage
The roof was blown off one resident's garage
A tornado has left a trail of destruction in a Hampshire town.

The freak winds on Saturday flattened a garage and fences and damaged roofs in Adlington Place, Farnborough.

The roof of resident Ray Worsfold's garage was lifted off and thrown into the garden next door. Other properties had tiles torn from their roofs.

No one was hurt in the brief time it took for the tornado to sweep through the area and residents are now carrying out a clean up.
