Warning over festive postal scam
Residents in Hampshire have been warned to beware of a Christmas postal scam.

Hampshire police said the trick centres on a card sent to householders by a bogus company.

It suggests that a parcel was unable to be delivered to someone's home and asks residents to call a premium rate number in order to collect it.

But as soon as people dial the number and listen to a recorded message, they are charged £1.50 and a further £1.50 a minute.
