Boy held after syringe stabbing
A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed with a syringe at a Hampshire school.

The 13-year-old victim suffered a wound to his right arm in the incident at Applemore Technology College in Dibden Purlieu.

He was taken to Southampton General Hospital for tests as a precaution, Hampshire police said.

The 12-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and granted police bail until 10 August.

Police said the victim had just left a building at the school and was heading for the playing fields when the incident took place last week.
