The former military site was once used to test and develop Concorde's engines

Plans for a huge warehouse and distribution centre have been unveiled to the public for the first time.
Astral Developments and the Prudential wanted to build what would have been one of the South's largest warehouses between Farnborough and Fleet.
But their proposals were scaled down after complaints from local residents.
The site at North Pyestock will now be limited to 860,000 sq ft (79,896 sq metres), about the same size as the Millennium Dome.

Quality of life will be seriously compromised

At one time the now-derelict area was used to test and develop Concorde's engines.
Steven Moss from Prudential said: "Distribution is a key need for the South East economy.
"Hartland Park itself is ideally located being a short distance off the main M3 motorway junction."
But despite original plans being reduced by 20% some local people still have concerns.
Shan Healey, who is campaigning against the warehouse, said the proposals were unreasonable.
"People who live in homes 300m from the site will experience noise pollution, air pollution, light pollution, sleep deprivation and their quality of life will be seriously compromised," she said.
Developers have promised residents a sound barrier and road improvements.
