'No frills' pizza chain launched
Stelios Haji-Ioannou
easyPizzas will be priced differently during peak and off-peak times
EasyJet founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou has unveiled plans to enter the fast food market with thousands of new "no-frills" delivery pizza franchises.

The pioneer of budget air travel has said pizzas will be priced differently during peak and off-peak times.

The first franchise of easyPizza.com is being set up in Segensworth East, between Portsmouth and Southampton, by 27-year-old James Kendall.

A further 9,000 franchises are planned across the UK, a spokeswoman said.

A corporately-owned branch has been operating in Milton Keynes for the past 12 months, as a pilot scheme.

Mr Haji-Ioannou, chairman of the easyGroup, launched the franchise at the Solent Hotel in Whiteley, Hampshire, on Friday morning.
