A student had to be rescued from a fire which broke out in a flat above a store in Portsmouth.
The fire at the property in Elm Grove, Southsea, was so severe it caused a partial collapse in the building.
Up to 80 firefighters were called out to the scene of the blaze above a Tesco Express store, which was badly damaged.
The student was rescued using a ladder and 20 other people were evacuated from the building. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said the building's fire alarm system had saved residents' lives.
